Those Photo's are really cool.. My Brother had a thing for Black & White... Two of his favorite colors... And he would decorate with those colors as well. He used to take Black & Whites and frame them... Always said it was peaceful looking....
Minxie, I personally think that the black and white photography actually hightens the overall emotion of the picture. Like the girl on the swing; feels like you are looking into the sun (not a good thing to do) taking the picture. The sun messes with your vision. The second pic of the girl sitting in the hallway, b&w makes the feeling/emotion of lonliness even deeper.
I love to process photos in B&W. Often I wonder if I'm doing too many shots that way in a session but there is just something about that medium that quiets your spirit down enough to feel the emotion. I love playing with color too, but there's nothing quite like a great B&W shot. Great images, Minxie!
I am just a simple gal trying to live life, take care of my daughter and all my many animals and have a great time doing it!
What you see is what you get... I don't try to be something/someone I am not. I am honest, giving and loving to a fault. I am very friendly and love to meet new people.
I am honored to have "met" so many wonderful new friends in WI, thanks to the PE filming and Johnny Depp! I am glad that I got a chance to tell Johnny how he and the filming have brought so many wonderful people together from across the country and the world! THANK YOU!!!!!
I have never blogged before but created this blog so that those of us who have become friends would have a place to meet up and chat.... please feel free to join us... we Welcome EVERYONE!!!
Thanks for stopping by...take care of you.... I wish you love and light always!

I think the actresses from the 40's and 50's looked so lovely because of black and white photography. There is just something about it.
