There was quite an eclectic variety of people attending the show, from all age groups (mostly MY age) and walks of life. I have to say that most everyone was dressed to the nines!!!!
There was no opening act, and he didnt start promptly at 8pm the way the tickets stated....LOL. But once he took the stage the crowd went WILD!!!!
I was quite impressed with his voice! It was simply amazing. The stage was lit up by 3 screens, one that was actually part of the stage he and the singers stood on.
About half way through they took a 20 minute break, never have seen that happen before. Considering he played for about 2 hours, I guess I understand. There were no cameras allowed inside, but of course that didnt stop the thousands from taking pics and vids on cell phones... (me inlcuded!) Please excuse the quality of the pics and vids... again, it was only my little cell phone.

I went to Strawberry fest today, and was supposed to go with my 5 friends as always. None of them called me till I was on my way, then I couldn't find them. When I did find them, they didn't want to look at the pirate stuff like I did, so we split up.
I lost them, and called them a million times, and no one ever answered. So I had to walk around the festival by myself, till I went home.
Now I am sitting here eating my Kettle corn I bought, by myself, at the festival. I am in poor spirits today.

Shakes - Kettle corn is like a sweet tasting popcorn. You can get it in the store, but it is better like at a fair where they make it fresh. They put it in a kettle at 1000 degrees, and put flavorings on it, and pop it right there in front of you. ITS AWESOME!

Minxie, I am just ghey, bipolar and ghey...I hadn't taken my meds for 2 days when we were in St. Annes and I just burst into tears 4 times...the first when Jerry sad no gifts...you know, I put everything I had into this for Evan for 4 months (no help at all from my husband) and this kid asks JD for a hat and bam a hat arrives...it is just stupid and Vicky is right, I have to let it go...but Evan is eleventy ten times more awesome and JD means so much more to Evan than to this kid...and I never even liked JD until I started doing this for Evan...and I think I just expected more...but I understand JD was rushed, there was no security...I am very very happy with all that has happened...most children never ever will experience anything like this ever...but Evan said to me in St Anne as JD went by " I don't even think he knew who I was" and I just went and sat on the curb and bawled.

Minxie, do you know what a firefly is? One of my sister-in-laws lived in Colorado all her life and had never seen or heard of a firefly. She and my brother went to my folks cabin for a few days in the summer and she got up at night and looked out the window.
She saw all these little blinking lights outside and was scared shitless! She woke my brother up and told him there were a bunch of people outside with penlights!!! She was serious! To this day we still rib her about that. It's been almost 40 years! LOL

Osh, We have fireflies in WI. In fact, there are quite a few out right now, but we will see more of them as the summer goes on. I caught 12 of them last night, and put them in a jar to look at. Then I let them go. Made me think of when I was in highschool. That was my first experiance with a firefly. They don't live in England.
