Disneyland was fun... but MAN was it PACKED!!!! The new Toy Story Mania ride opened up at the California Adventure Park.... the line was too long and it was too hot to wait in it... so we never made it on that one. I am glad that I have an annual pass.... :)

Hey, Jack, while you're up north are you doing any sight seeing? You could always head over to Manitowish Waters and go to the Little Bohemia. It is a nice drive, though long from ER. They are doing gangbuster (tee hee) business since filming completed!

Speaking of cheese turds, which nobody was...I had a meeting today in Stevens Point and as I was driving back home I stopped at the Knowlton Cheese Factory and picked up fresh cheese turds and fresh bricks of Colby cheese. UUUmmm! Had to munch on cheese turds 1/2 way home, before I got control of myself! So Jack, pull off the freeway at Knowlton and get yourself some fresh turds. If you like cheese turds. Their's are magnificent!
I am a fan of the Carr Valley cheese curds myself. Although most of the locations are effected by the flooding or the roads are clogged to get there :)

It's funny, but I hadn't gotten any fresh cheese curds in years. Until you all started talking about them, I had almost forgotten how good they were. Last week I bought some fresh curds at our local Pick n Slave and they were good, just not as good as fresh from the makes. Plus, they were made by a compnay called Dupont and that just makes me think of plastic! So today I thought, what the hell I'm here so I'm stopping!
Now I HAVE to eat them all before someone stops by to visit! Or there won't be any more for me. :D

I'm 50 and can't say that I want to work long enough to make getting a Master's pay off. On the other hand, I earned my Bachelor's late (41) and really LOVED college. Which is funny, because I hated all school before I got into college.

Well if you are headed up 51 through Minocqua, you could always stop at the wildlife park. It has species native to WI, and some that aren't. They also have a deer petting park, and pig petting park. It is actually kinda cool! you can even go trout fishing there!

Mate, I honestly don't know what courses be open or closed anymore. I do know that you can get on 51 off 151 in FondDuLac (did that last weekend) but up around Portage...Who's doesn't know. 16-60 is now open in Columbus, residents are returning to the homes that they were evacuated from near the river. Now they get to see how they'll spend the next month or two.

Dodge County has a really good site for road closures. As long as you stay on main roads...and away from Portage...I think you'll be OK..As you head north there are less road problems. God bless the people who are down stream...If you guys are on here...its COMING!!!

Me leg - - - I woke up screaming yesterday morning...it was all cramped up from my feet to my back. I massaged it, then when back to sleep. 10 min later it did the same thing, only MUCH worse. It has been doing it ever since about every couple of hours. In between "episodes" it is very sore, and can't walk on it.

Somebody asked a while ago where the Who'ses were tonight...Who'ses #1 just got home. She and a couple of the other Who'ses were working on their PE slide show. They've been working on it for a couple of weeks (off and on) They tell me that its going to be awesome. They'll let you all know when its done. They would be happy to share.

Vix~ I am no doctor or practitioner... but from you say, and what my knowledge is... sounds to me like you have strained the calf muscle some how.... since it is cramping upward and not downward, that seems to be more of a strain, than lack of circulation, water, or minerals.... I still recommend the arnica, if its swollen; keep it propped up even while sleeping. There are a couple of pressure points... but they are more for muscle spasms caused by circulation etc...
I would also recommend firm and deep long stroke massage starting from the back of the knee in a downward stroke to the ankle, also heat and ice alternating every 15 minutes for about an hour and see how that helps the pain and tightness.
